We remind that due to the high risk of contagion and spread of IAAP, biosecurity measures must be maximized inside and outside the farm.
- Do not bring foreign material into the farm without prior cleaning and disinfection.
- Keep the hayloft completely closed and cover the straw, husk, etc. with canvas or plastic.
- Change of shoes and clothes when entering the perimeter of the farm.
- Verify that we have disinfectant in the foot baths (CPQ dinfex® 12/6).
- Ensure that there are no possible entrances to the houses of wild birds (verify the grilles and mesh on windows and hatches).
- Do not have food or dirt outside the farm that could attract wild birds.
- Cover the outer pools of water and/or apply shock treatment.
- Ensure effective purification of water in the case of canals or swamps and increase the dose of treatment.
- Disinfect the perimeters and access areas to the warehouses, pavements, concrete, etc… We recommend applying the powdered product due to its greater persistence (CPQ dinfex® 12/6).
- Do not move material, vehicles or personnel between nuclei of birds within the perimeter control radius.
